Spinal conditions including whiplash, low back pain, cervical and lumbar fusions, headaches, auto accident victims, total joint replacements, post-operative rotator cuff repair, ACL/MCL reconstruction, arthroscopic surgeries, overuse syndromes of the upper and lower extremity.
I had my first experience with Physical Therapy as an eighth grader sustaining a low back injury during a football game. I rehabilitated and continued sports throughout high school and sustained another low back injury my senior year. There were other broken bones and sprained joints in between and a couple of car accidents later in life causing whiplash. Through these experiences, I have been able to relate to my patients giving me a better understanding of injury, pain and inflammation, and recovery. I utilize a variety of treatments including those listed above to improve patient outcomes in a population of patients young to old with acute and chronic conditions. I also enjoy sports performance and injury prevention as a means to reduce risk for future injury.
